Pray for This Boy

This is my brother Ryan, pictured around the same time as "Yours Truly" at the right. Please keep him in your prayers. His doctors have found several growths in his abdomen. After an inconclusive biopsy, they removed one of the tumors yesterday and noted that it had grown significantly in a very short period of time. There are others like it, and bigger, still in his body. Tomorrow, at the latest, he is supposed to find out if they are malignant.

Ryan has a 2-year-old son, whose mother recently suffered a miscarriage. Ryan was just hired onto a new career a few months ago. His health insurance and FMLA have not kicked in yet, and his family has considerable financial concerns and other concerns to deal with, on top of this serious health stuff. So there's a lot to pray for. But pray especially for his spiritual needs, that the Word of Christ may strengthen him in this time of trial, and that the Spirit of Christ may give him peace on this occasion for worry and uncertainty.
