I've started carrying a tiny notebook in my car, so I can jot down ideas to write about later. I find this ever so much more satisfying than getting home after work and thinking, "Darn! I've forgotten the theme I was on fire to compose at 6:00 this morning!"One of the jottings I found today, as I flipped through my notebook, was the following one-liner which I evidently meant as part of my still-developing stand-up routine:
"All right, class. Let's have a show of hands. How many of you actually think I care what you think? Hmm. Interesting..."
