This is going to be a quickie. I only have one "noteworthy composer" to mention for the letter E:
Enescu (George) was the life of the party, as far as 20th century Romanian music goes. He was a violinist, pianist, conductor, and teacher. As a composer, he is best known for his two Romanian Rhapsodies and three Orchestral Suites. He also wrote an opera (Oedipe), three symphonies, and a small but respectable body of chamber music.
